Just curious if you wedge at your facility.

We wedge here. At the hospital across the street, RN's do not wedge.

I work in a CTICU and we never wedge. Apparently there was an incident a few years ago where a pt was left wedged and died. It appears that any place that has had an incident doesn't wedge anymore.

or any place that experiences vicariously through others. I'm not personally aware of any incidents in the past 10-12 years, but we also shoot our own COs and use the PAD. I probably haven't wedged someone in almost 8 years.
