Super CPNE vets--about the wound

Hey you GN people--how is the wound sitting on the table in the sim lab? Is it oriented vertically or horizontally? Where is that tiny edge part of the wound facing--towards me or away from me or left or right? Can I just say heck with it and move the wound myself?

the excelsior website has a whole kit available, i think it's $122. comes with the whole lab station set up...syringes, bags, piggybacks, a stethescope and the wound/dressings. it's all like what you'll be subjected to at the cpne. you can also check out ebay, probably cheaper that way...if you go to the ec website, it's under the cpne resources tab. good luck!

Hey, this is my old thread!

I had the wound from EC's skills bag, but I found that the one at the actual CPNE was much, much easier to pack than mine, yet it was similar. I had a cow for nothing, so this is just FYI for you future testers. (I had much more trouble farting around with the IVP lab, but I passed that lab the second day.)
