SUNY University at Buffalo ABS 2022 Start

Hi there,

I'm applying to University at Buffalo's accelerated nursing program this Fall for the May 2022 start. I haven't seen any other threads on this forum. Anybody else out there applying?

Hi, I'm going to apply to their ABSN as well! I'm coming from California. I don't have healthcare experience unfortunately. ? My GPA is about 3.7 prerequisites and 3.5 overall. I don't know how competitive it is but it can't be worse than here so I'm just going to try!

Yeah I hear California is crazy competitive. Your GPA is super solid! I have a mediocre 3.05 undergrad which makes me nervous, but a 4.0 in the seven prereqs I've finished should bump up my overall to 3.2. I'm also a clinical hospice volunteer. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I also applied! I have a 3.9 GPA and have worked as a geri-aide at a nursing home for the past year (which was like a weird cross section between activities and basic nursing LOL). wow a 4.0 in pre-reqs? that is fantastic! good luck everyone!

I’m applying for May 2022 start as well! I applied my junior year to the traditional program and unfortunately was denied. However I’m now finishing my degree in public Health and applying with a 3.3 GPA (3.4 pre-req, just need to take PHARM) and lots of experience on my resume. Hope I can get in, and good luck everyone :))))

I've read in the past they notify before Dec. 15th

An email said to expect decision’s “early to mid December” so hopefully we’ll hear this week!

Has anyone heard anything? I got an email last Friday stating we would find out this week so hopefully it is soon!!

I looked at last year’s thread and they were notified December 17th which was a Thursday. So fingers crossed it’s the 16th this year. I am so nervous!
