SUNY StonyBrook PMHNP Summer 2022

Hi,

I applied to SUNY Stonybrook's PMHNP program beginning Summer 2022. I have an interview set up for December 8th. Anyone had an interview yet and know the type of questions that are typically asked?

@Lucy0223 I think everyone in our interview group did so good.  I was actually at the end of my shift and had a crazy day. Happy I was able to get through the interview and essay. Wishing you and all the others in our group the best of luck. I felt like I could see all of us in class working on a project LOL, by the way I was Annmarie the one who works at NYP.

I am Stephanie. You were so calm and natural. You didn't seem nervous at all!

Nothing yet. Have you heard anything or know anyone who got in?

@Jake1989 @jason123 I haven’t heard anything yet. They started sending out acceptance letters?!?! Oh boy

@Lucy0223 @jake1989 @jason123 I haven’t heard anything either. I thought they were going to possibly do another round of interviews. Some of my colleagues who applied never got the opportunity to interview. Now I feel bad.

During the interview I remember they said that acceptance letters will be sent in March. I know the FNP program started sending out letters though.

The last interview was December 6th I believe. God I hate this waiting game. I am quite surprised to hear people received acceptance letters. I thought they were going to start in March. When did those people receive their acceptance letters?

Hey, I received my acceptance to the FNP program Jan 28th. Keep in mind that the FNP deadline was Oct 7th, and the last day of interview was Nov 22nd. Goodluck and I wish you all the best.
