I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

I applied in September and still haven't heard anything. I attended an info session and they said that it is rolling admissions, so hopefully we hear back soon.

Btw I had no idea that they were having open houses. I thought they were only having info sessions. Can you share the link where we can get more info on the open houses please?

same! I want to go to open house as well. I hope rolling admissions means not too late..

Is there a link you can share where we can find more info about the open house? I just tried searching but all I see is the info sessions which I already attended.

On the application portal, it says interviews for qualified students: December 2020-January 2021. So I think we'll start hearing back then.

Hey all,
    I submitted my application mid october. I'm missing one pre-requisite which I'm taking right now (Microbiology). Anyone else have a status that says "file fowarded to program for review"? It also says I have an incomplete application...

Any thoughts on this?

Is anyone else signed up for this information session tomorrow 11/16 at 10 am? I am, but I have no information regarding a zoom link or if it's in person... getting down to the wire.

Oh I wish I was signed up. It was too late for me. I signed up for the waiting list but did not hear anything back.

Hi, I submitted my app Oct 23. I'm missing my math req. But, my application was finally forwarded to the program for review today. My application says completed, however. I think only completed applications get forwarded to the program.

Submitted my application last night and just got an email that it was forwarded to admissions for review!

Hi! I don't think so, it isn't listed on the admissions requirements. I think we just have to have it completed before starting the program.
