Hey I know we still have about four months before we can begin applying to the accelerated program but i was wondering , what are you guys doing to prepare your application and Etc.

I see that you were accepted to SUNY Downstate, and have been a student there for a few months. Previous posts from 5 years ago talked about how disorganized the school was, and how terrible the professors were. Did you experience the same troubles? How have you felt in school? Would you recommend this school to others? Previously, the posts said the only positive thing about this school was the price. I'm hoping this may have changed, and would love your opinion.

Hey,

I am applying to SUNY Downstate 2016. The deadline for the application is on November 30. I am still missing the essay portion before I submit my application. Is it a bad idea that I am submitting my application this late and close to the deadline. I read on other thread that it would be better to submit the application earlier.

hey itzlilyyy - did you end up applying for summer 2016? i am awaiting my decision, and having trouble finding a thread for applicants for 2016 (hence, why i'm looking at the 2015 class!)

hey lilazn04 - i also applied for 2016. i started a thread "SUNY Downstate Summer 2016" but it hasn't had much action! :) Would love to chat with other 2016 hopefuls!

Hi, I also tried to start a similar thread, I only had one hit. I wanted to apply in October but wound up applying a week before the deadline because I did a retake of the TEAS. Hoping to hear sooner than later but I'm guessing that's wishful thinking.

I received my acceptance email today ! I was so nervous when I saw the email saying SUNY Downstate has made their decision. Good luck to the rest of you guys !!

Question about outstanding pre-reqs. When I submitted my app I had anthro and statistics outstanding. Completed in february 2016 and sent it right away to admission. Currently status Faculty Screener7. Should I expect to be wait listed or I still have a chance to get an acceptance letter very soon??? Thank you.

I have a 3.0 GPA. I have no experience working in any health field. I received A's and B's on the prerequisites and I am still taking some. If I do very well on my TEAS V exam do I have a shot at getting accepted?
