Hey Everyone!

I figured I should start a new thread for the upcoming round of decisions. How are you all feeling? What are your backgrounds? Have you applied to other schools? My application is in the review progress, so my fingers are crossed and hopes are high!

For those who got the call that they are off the waitlist, did you send in your response before you got the call? And did you send in any of the required paperwork before?

I wondering because some of you received the alternate notification the same day as me and were called already.

I also got a call! I am currently taking my last pre-req and will be able to get my final transcript in at the end of the semester. I submitted my proof of citizenship and my first bachelors transcript but not medical forms yet.

I sent in my response on May 1st. Sent my health forms on May 2nd. They called me on May 5th

yeah, i am wondering the same thing because the guy on the phone said it would be this week, but i really want it to confirm everything

I havent gotten mine yet, hopefully by tomorrow :) I want enough time to fill out and notarize the criminal background

I haven't received anything yet either. Does anyone know if regiatration is through online, in person or by paper?

Has anyone applied for financial aid BTW? I spent 5 years for my undergraduate degree and had financial aid for 5 years so I do not know if I qualify.

You can register for both Summer and Fall online.

@explicitj0yee Registration for classes is online. They had a few days early in May to register, but they'll open up registration again on the 19th.

As for financial aid, you may be better off contacting SUNY Downstate's financial aid office, but imho I don't think it'd hurt to apply for financial aid.

@syzrezi you don't need to notarize anything for the background check. They'll send you the URL for the website where you can just fill out your information and pay a fee to do it. It actually took less than a day for that to be completed.

So I didn't receive my packet yet but I just got a "Pay Now" link for my deposit on the checklist.... I've paid so hopefully it's OFFICIAL!!!!

@ Brit2368 I just paid my deposit too. I really hope that we are official students even though we didn't get the letter yet. But we are one step closer! btw, you got into pace too right and you were assigned your clinicals. I remember seeing you on the pace. Did you talk to the school yet about not going because I still havent but I am scared to tell them before everything is finalized for downstate
