@syzrezi you don't need to notarize anything for the background check. They'll send you the URL for the website where you can just fill out your information and pay a fee to do it. It actually took less than a day for that to be completed.

@explicitj0yee Registration for classes is online. They had a few days early in May to register, but they'll open up registration again on the 19th. As for financial aid, you may be better off contacting SUNY Downstate's financial aid office, but imho I don't think it'd hurt to apply for financial aid.

@explicitj0yee congrats! From what we've been told by other students currently in the program and looking at the course registrations, they accept 60 students for each cohort. Can't answer about the working though I do know that they discourage working especially in the first two (summer) semesters.

That's the site that I also was referring to. My checklist has items checked off (with a green check) since I've completed those items already, such as the deposit, background check, and health forms.

Was accepted. I didn't get a deposit link, but the information about sending the acceptance response letter, deposit payment, and the URL for the background check were included in the packet that was sent by UPS. Maybe the reason why the checklists are active means that you're put on the waitlist? Sorry, these are all guesses here too.

For my Bachelor's, I had a 3.6 GPA and 3.9 for the Nursing pre-reqs which I took at a CUNY to save on the $$. I don't really have a lot of hospital/clinical experience but I do a lot of other volunteering. I've actually already been accepted (and responded) to my first choice ABSN program, so I'll have to officially decline Pace's offer when I get the notice in the mail. I just wanted to post here so that everyone else would have an idea that they're getting back to people. I know the reason why I started checking out these boards in the first place is to get some estimate of when I should expect to hear back from the schools.

@kdacayo, what kind of stats? My GPA?

I received my acceptance message from Pace just now, they sent it by e-mail. I had my interview on March 10th.

Has everyone who received the acceptance e-mail received their acceptance packets yet? I'm just curious since it's been a week since I got the e-mail but still nothing from the UPS guy. I may resort to stalking him as he enters my bldg at this point.

@mary0726: I heard from them on the same day and still haven't received my acceptance packet either (and I live in Brooklyn!) Out of curiosity, I called Admissions yesterday and was informed they haven't even sent out the packet yet. Maybe they do it in batches? I know the group that received their acceptance emails two weeks ago didn't receive the packet till Thursday-Friday of last week.
