Stars ignoring her seems wise

NJ22 that sounds like a nice event

Ado thanks for the photo

Dianah that must be difficult, two deaths within such a short period of time, and one unexpected

Went bird watching in the morning as usual and had lunch with dad.  Ran an errand or two then met the over 50 group for dinner at an Italian restaurant.  Was a nice place, and in a suburb that I have not really explored before

Today will be the reader at church, then will return to church in the afternoon as we have having a celebration of the new bells then.  Might have skipped it but my dad will be going.  Will try and get the cooking done before church, as we are back to having services at 10 rather than 9

Weather will again be in the upper 80s with no rain, no much change in the weather over the last week or so

I posted for today at the end of yesterday's posts.... I have some Grain Bandage, Drain Dandruff, Strained Antlers.......or maybe Brain Damage? I can't talk about Nannie's short attention span anymore. Oh Well!

Hi. It was too cool to ride the entire 15 miles that I average on Sundays, so I cut it short. I guess it's time to get out the long bike pants and wear full gloves, and something over my ears. The sun came out eventually, and I worked in the yard for a bit. Also, sheets in the washer, kitchen cleaned. Watched a little football.

ds was going to make chili for dinner, but his cold has gotten worse, so thats on hold. dh already took some salmon out for him to make for himself. I'll do another grilled cheese sandwich.

Stars, I would come by and give you some time off if I could.

Dianah, I am so sorry for your loss. Spending time with loved ones seems like a great plan.

I like authentic Italian food. Heck, I like Americanized Italian food too. I usually eat too much. The place that is our usual for family outings serves a nice salad with garbanzo beens and salami, along with greens, that I tell myself is healthier than chicken parm.

Ado, that photo was lovely. What beautiful sky. I think I've told this story before, but my old job was at a hospital atop a bluff, and we were on the 4th floor. This gave us a beautiful view of the west. We would often gather in the solarium at the end of the hall at sunset to take in the beautiful sky, if only for a few minutes, as a break from the chaos that was our unit.

Very nice evening and I'm sitting outside to enjoy it. At least for a little while.

Sorry for your losses, dianah.

Twin A and I made the lava cakes today and they turned out really well.

I picked a fight with Hubs. Didn't really mean to but was curious what "policies" of Trump he agrees with. He and I might have been able to have a respectful conversation but Twin A jumped in. Hubs ended up storming out and staying gone for a couple of hours. So he and I did not go sing at the nursing home. And he will "never" discuss politics with me or the boys again.

Twin A is now telling me about what he's reading in his social psychology class. Earlier we discussed statistics and trigonometry. I should get college credit! 😅

I burned my arm while cooking and grated my thumb along with some parmesan. The cat dug her claws in trying to get me to pet her and now I have itchy little hives where she did that. And allergies are leaving me stuffy. Whine, whine, whine.
