Tweety I have noticed plenty of gay men with partners on the dating apps

Stars I'm surprised capsaicin products are hard to find, I have some although I haven't bought any recently

NJ22 hope your heel feels better

Dianah sounds like a nice day

Was a fairly ordinary Saturday.  Went bird watching the the morning but saw few birds.  Ran some errands and had lunch with dad.  Exercised and tried watching some old 50s scifi films.  A bit disappointing, many of them I'm finding are not that good

Went to bed early to adjust to daylight savings time, although I had a little difficulty getting to sleep and staying asleep

Today will have coffee with the over 50 group this morning so I will skip church.  Should have time in the morning to get the cooking done for the week and possibly the laundry as well.  Will exercise again once I get home.  Have to remember to take my pickleball raquet and balls to coffee, someone in the over 50 group is interested in trying pickleball so I'm going to give them my equipment

Going to be warmer today, up to the upper 50s, will get up to 70 later this week I think

Joe, I love 1950s sci-fi movies.  They are epically bad.  There is no science, it's all fiction.  Space ships with gravity and women in skirts and heels.  It's fun.

The sun is trying to shine, but the weather report sez 53 degrees and rain.

I am so achey I can't stand it;  I woke up in the middle of the night and put a wrap on my lower back (which is now named 'heat wrap', without any capsaicin or lidocaine. Harumph!) And now both my hips and knees feel swollen, and I have (DUH!) figured out why: it is those cheap $14,95 canvas shoes that are causing this! So, this morning I put on the worn-out clogs, and I expect things to start feeling better......*fingers crossed*. Right now I am actually hobbling and it sucks! I should've known it was those canvas shoes, I can never get away with wearing different shoes that fit me less well than the clogs. Well, at least I didn't pay a lot for them.....except my body is paying for it now! So I don't plan on doing much except the 'minimum', and trying to rest and recuperate. ARRGGHH!

BiL came over yesterday to get the trailer so he can help my nephew move. My nephew is 35 years old (I didn't realize that!) and he is moving in with his girlfriend who is 15 years older than him and has 2 dgt's (19 and 21). But we think it will be a good thing for him whether it works out or not, to start living like an adult and helping to cover bills and all that goes with being a "big kid" now. (speaking of big, he is 6'2" or 6'3") Anyway, I found that interesting. BiL said that the woman is, or used to be, "kind of on the wild side a little" but essentially is a "grown-up". She owns the house, and one of her kids is on the way to college. That's all I know for now.

After I picked up Nannie from daycare, and she was sitting in her recliner, she said "I am wet all over," and by golly she was! She apparently was sitting so that she peed UP toward the front and her jersey and pants were soaked from mid-thigh to upper belly! So I changed her into another set of clothes because she wouldn't agree to put her pj's on. She then promptly fell asleep. And at 8 PM I realized I had not fed her any supper or her PM meds! I slapped a PB and banana sandwich together, and naturally she had to have potato chips, chocolate pudding and a chocolate cookie. I woke her up, she ate, and went back to sleep. I let her sleep until 9:30 PM and then woke her up and told her it was time to wake up and go to sleep. I think she has stayed in bed all night. I will have to be getting her up shortly, but as usual I am reluctant to do so.

MY horror-scope said that 'something big' was coming my way and to 'get ready' because 'today is the day it is to be revealed.' YUH, sure. Well, we'll see.......likely a big NOTHING!

I was going to post again last night, but after I turned the clocks ahead, I decided I would just go up to bed and read. Momo didn't eat her supper last night, nor her snack, but she did want to play with her little squeak-toy and was bouncing and yapping at me to PLAY! She hasn't shown any interest in her breakfast yet, so I dunno what the deal is with her.

Prolly will post more later....

My back and knees feel about 70% better now. Still sore but not hobbling me quite so much.

Naturally I have done laundry today because Nannie is so "generous" with her urine.

As Nannie fiddles with her sleeves and the hem of her jerseys, I am contemplating the easiest thing to give her for supper.

Momo still has not eaten, this will be the 2nd day in a row. I have to call and get her a vet appt because she IS due to be seen.....OVER due, in fact. But I don't think that is why she isn't interested in eating.

Hello all!

No Stars, what is your theory on why Momo isn't eating?  Our chihuahua goes through that phase, every two or three weeks.  Won't eat for prolly 24 hours, is lethargic (like he isn't feeling well), then picks up, is bright, and eats well.  We haven't figured out a reason -- it just happens now and then.

We had a nice Zoom chat with the "kids."  I have a second load of laundry in the dryer, and have folded the first one.  There are four cats sacked out on the bed, enjoying their nap time.  We will have leftover soup for supper.

It's nice and sunny out, probably 70 degrees.  More rain and snow is predicted for Tues-Thurs this week.  The eaglets are doing well, we sure enjoy checking on their progress.

I hope your work day went OK, Tweety.

Have a good evening!
