Hi Tweety

Stars I hope today is a better day, and that you can get some respite

Didn't do much yesterday.  Left the house to mail a letter and stop and a drive through for some food.  Watched Oppenheimer on my streaming service, think that's the first post pandemic film I've seen.  Spent a lot of time drinking fluids and resting.  Was kind of odd for me, to sit there and rest, and not be doing something.  2nd Covid test was negative, so whatever this is it's not that

Feeling quite a bit better today, think the fever may have broken last night.  So far no other symptoms. Nothing really planned for today, have some cooking to do and meal prep for the week

Going to be a hot day in the mid 90s

G'day.

Joe, hope you continue to mend and get well soon.

I've been to hot yoga and washed and changed the sheets.  Stopped by the Asian market on the way home.  Having lunch and my day is done.  LOL

I put my light out early last night as I was feeling exhausted and depressed. I slept from 12:30 AM to 6 AM; got up and fed Momo and then we went back to bed and slept six more hours. Then I got up and dressed, I came down and made myself a cup of coffee, then got Nannie's breakfast tray ready, and came down to the den, only to find Nannie sitting on the floor, leaning back against her recliner seat. Did she call or holler for me? No. Had she been there long? No, not an awfully long time, she said. Did she hurt? No. She'd only slid down off the front of the chair and was "just waiting" for someone to come help her. Blase'.

I sat behind her on the recliner seat and had her bend her knees and push down on her feet while I pulled up under her arms, but could not get her up. I called SiL and fortunately she and BiL had been out to eat a meal for Father's Day, and were all through with that, and weren't but 5 minutes away, so she said not to call the ambulance to get Nannie up, they'd be right over.

Once they got here and got her up, , SiL took her in the bathroom and washed her up, then dressed her in dry clothes and brought her out to sit in the (dry) recliner. My job was to put a large bandaid on her right wrist where she'd gotten a beaut of a skin tear. I am so glad she didn't break that other wrist! After Nannie took her meds and finished her breakfast, they went along home. Now Nannie is dozing off, and I am feeling quite relieved! Glad I slept so well last night, or my depression from yesterday would kick back in, and who needs that?!

Have started another laundry, as her bed was also soaked again. At some point I will have to dash out and get the milk I didn't get yesterday.

This has been the 'week that was', and I swear, it better not continue on this way for Nannie during the rest of the month! I tell myself that at least I'd gotten my finances straightened out, and the new card came in the mail yesterday, so I can go back over to see my personal banker either Monday or Tuesday, get the Bank's Mastercard paid off, dumping the horrendous interest I was paying on it! Then she'll figure out a payment schedule for auto-payments, and help balance my checkbook, and I can start anew!

Laundry ready to be switched to dryer and another load ready to be washed.

And as Linda Ellerbe used to say...."And so it goes....."

Quiet day. Intermittent rain. Did some laundry. Watched a movie, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen. Big whoop.
