NJ22 sounds like a productive day

Stars glad the vertigo went away and that the dog doesn't mind her medication

Tweety patients like that can be draining

Was a nice day at the Arboretum, although the cloudy weather made it hard to see the birds

After that drove to the veteran's art museum for our date.  Normally I don't care for modern art but this was interesting if sobering.  Then we drove to an English style pub for a late lunch, was a interesting place.  Then we walked to a coffee shop to talk some more.  Then drove home.  Lotta driving that day.  Got a parking ticket, as I didn't quite put my license plate in correctly at the parking permit machine, will have to be more careful in the future

Came home and relaxed and watched part of Svengoolie.  A little bit of cat vomit to clean up too.  I think I'll start giving her the hairball medication on a regular basis, though she isn't nearly as bad as she used to be

After a long day yesterday (and a busy week in general) will skip church this morning. Might do a little more bird watching, as I have a dentist appointment next Sat morning so I probably won't have time to do it then.  Or I might not, as I did a lot of driving yesterday.  Will cook for the week and bake cornbread and do one or two other things

Going to be cooler today, in the upper 70s

In the midst of a complicated dream, my phone rang, and it was SiL texting me: "Could you please come down and unlock the back door?" (12 noon) She got Nannie up to shower and get dressed. I staggered up to the kitchen and got my coffee going, and put stuff on Nannie's tray. While I was downstairs, Momo peed on the foot of the bed, however I have the mattress cover on now, so at least she didn't get the mattress wet, but I do have to wash the bedding. Haven't gone back downstairs yet to check on the state of Nannie's bedding. The mattress protector I got for my bed is one of those cheapo ones that goes on like a fitted sheet, and it slides around and bunches up, which is kind of annoying, Probably should have gotten one of those full-mattress covers. Live and learn.

I'll tell you how awake I am NOT....I was reading Joe's post and tried to picture how he had to put his license plate (the whole plate) into some kind of slot, to get into the parking lot. Nope, that makes no sense! Realized he was talking about entering the license plate number on a keypad. DUH. It just didn't seem right to me that he had to take the whole license plate itself off his car!  🙃......MORE COFFEE, PLEASE!

My horror-scope said that I would have tons of energy early on....WRONG! But I am hoping that once the coffee and AM meds kick in, maybe that energy will, too. It is 90 degrees out there, very humid once again, and we may get rain in the mid-afternoon. I may have to go out to Harris-Teeeter (we used to call it "Harry Tee-Hee"), but right now that remains on the 'maybe' list. 

Okay, so I am going to get dressed, then dose, and then feed Momo. May come back by here later unless I turn into a whirlwind and attack one of the messes that awaits. We'll see what we see when we see it!

Stars, my laptop screen was bathed in iced tea!  When I read this I laughed so hard, tea went everywhere  🤣   Thanks for the laugh, I needed it !

I have started my laundry and I am on my 2nd cup of coffee.  C'mon ENERGY!

Abbnurse, glad to help you with a needed laugh! I like it when I get a surprise laugh out of something, but I try not to spit my drink everywhere! Hope your computer has recovered from it's Sunday morning bath!

Momo manages to get half of one of the meds on her shoulder when she flings her head side to side as I dose her. The Prednisone is a smaller amt., so, I usually get all of that down her throat. I tell you what, this new bed of hers is THE VERY THING to her; she gets up on the sofa and dives into her little clam-shell-bed....or maybe it's an oyster, and she is the pearl!

I am going to finish my 2nd cup of coffee and then start in on something, somewhere in this house!! Don't know what, yet, but I GOTTA use this 'free' time to accomplish some of it! 

PS: Nannie's bed is dry, she only left her pee-autograph on the underpad, so I don't have to launder her bedding. YAY!

Sweat, sweat, SWEAT! I got the floors in the  kitchen and front hall vacuumed, washed them both. The dishes are done and put away. It looks like somebody else lives here now! Emptied the vacuum cleaner and started in on the den. Also doing more laundry, sweating, resting under the ceiling fan on high, sweating. I sure hope SiL keeps Nannie for a longer time than usual. It is now 4:30 and I have yet to go upstairs. Guess I'll not get too much of anything done up there today, except to remake my bed with the clean sheets and comforter.

Now my sweat is drying off under the ceiling fan and it is making me shiver! I could really use a shower, but I have to re-boot my energy to do that.; don't want to slither down into a heap in the tub.

 I remember when my mother told me she had to quit taking a bath in the tub. She had a REALLY difficult time getting herself up and out of the tub, and the thought of 4-5 first-responders coming in to haul her naked body out of the tub was what gave her enough OOMPH to get up. Then she said ,"NEVER-MORE!"

Good evening.

Had a decent weekend at work without a lot of drama.  I was full of myself as I got three IVs others missed, but remembered I missed two yesterday.  Some days I'm hot and other days I'm not.  

Stars, don't feel bad, I had to stop and read it twice before I got it.  LOL
