Hi Tweety

Dianah not sure  what you could use for pie transport.  I have a very large Tupperware container  that could hold a sheet cake, maybe something like that could  work?

Stars glad you're feeling better, hope it's not a gallstone

Ado glad the museum event went  well

Was busy for me yesterday.  Did bird watching,  then the dentist.  Then  the  cat sitter asked if she could come over then instead of Sunday as planned.  So we did that,  made it to the shredding event just in  time

Had lunch with dad and then did both cookies and muffins.  By the time Svengoolie  came on I was pretty tired

Talked with J,  he's feeling better but having pretty bad allergies with pretty irritated eyes.  He's going to try some medications and see if he can get the symptoms under control before we meet again.  He also found out that elderly friend of his  has been hospitalized.  So it will be a quiet Sunday for me

Will do laundry before church,  then will  get to church early as I'll be the assisting minister.   Then I'll come  back and make a vegetable barley soup recipe for the week

Today should be another nice day,  in the  upper 70s.  Kinda like yesterday.  Hopefully I won't need to use  the AC  today either

Good morning!

Joe, I love barley soup.  Hope J can get his allergies under control.

Stars, I have a coworker with gallstones that are controlled with diet.

I'm about to head to the gym.  Going to a 2pm play with best friend.  A Neil Simon play that I'd never heard of called "Rose and Walsh".  This troupe really doesn't do bad work, so I'm sure it will be good.

I'm going to get the stuff to make a Tuscan white bean soup with kale.  I've made it before and have liked it.

Hi, I hope by the time I am posting that NoStars and J are both feeling better.

Nice and warm here, around 80. We went to the local fair yesterday. I ate too much rich food and been feeling nauseous. It was good going down tho. There were not many people, which was good, but not as many animals either. No poultry display, probably because of chance of spreading bird flu. Saw my favorite animals: pygmy goats and draft horses. Admired the needlework in the quilt display, and kicked ourselves for not entering some of our own flowers. Maybe next year. We watched a "lumberjack show" which was a little weak. It was mostly one guy doing chainsaw carving.

Repair person coming tomorrow to look at the clothes dryer. I fear it will need to be replaced. Oh well, its always something.

Woke up w/ no GB pains, but my left knee keeps cussing intermittently. It's always sumpthin'!

Hubby forgot that today is Sunday and he had zero alcohol to drink. He started getting the shakes pretty bad, and I couldn't stand the thought of him "D-T"-ing all night. I went to a neighbor who often has parties, and they gave me an unopened  fifth of vodka. She said they had already cottoned on to the fact that hubby is alcoholic. Her mother has the same problem. Hubby said he has been  drinking a fifth a day. This bottle of vodka better last him until tomorrow, when he can go to the ABC store. His PCP appt is Wednesday. Something's gotta give, soon!

Braves won again tonight. The next 5 nights they will be playing the Mets. UGH, because the Mets are the toughest team the Braves have played so far this season. It's like the teams are Arch-Rivals. ?

Welp, signing off for now. Let's ALL have a good week, okay? ?
