Good Early Afternoon....
The ballgame started about 45 minutes ago. Both Nannie and hubby are in their recliners ~ and of course they are both sleeping! Nannie sleeps so much more than she ever used to.(No complaints from me!)
Hubby is upset with himself for "ruining" his life, he says. He is still mad about having to get up so early tomorrow, for his 8 AM appt w/ his primary doc. He is still mentioning his dread of having a cath inserted to continuously drain his pleura. Tomorrow at this time, it should all be over with, and then he can complain about the bulb dangling at his side to keep his pleura from filling up every month. Maybe he will start the doc's plan for the Librium taper SOON. I am dubious of that being successful, though. I wish he'd just go to a rehab program for a few weeks at the very least. You know that will be somewhat of a break for me, but most of all I want it to WORK for hubby. We'll see, I reckon.

Hi Stars
NJ22 that does sound like a relaxing day
Tweety that is outrageous, and venting is understandable. I hope your mom is discharged soon
Yesterday was a bit busy for me. Went bird watching in the morning to a place someone from church had recommended, but did not see any birds. Will have to make sure I have the right location. Made blueberry muffins for coffee hour and had lunch with dad. Did some knitting and watched Svengoolie, the movie was OK
Talked with J, allergies are better but stomach is still acting up so we won't' get together today. He realizes now that a poor sleep schedule and poor medication adherence are likely causes, and is adjusting his sleep schedule and taking more time to set up meds to address them. It's a bit frustrating that I haven't seen him in 3 weeks, but I'm hopeful that after a few days of the new regimen he'll feel better
Today have to to to church a bit early to set up for coffee hour, then will have another vestry meeting after church to address the rising cost of the minister's new residence. I will be glad when I'm done with vestry and all these meetings. Will do the cooking for the week too
Another cooler day today, in the 70s, hopefully can keep the AC off. Might rain a bit
