Hello! How's it going! Didn't see a thread started for this next cohort, so thought I'd start one!

I applied and interviewed once for both Medical and Surgical for the last cohort (March 2016) but didn't get either

I applied again for Summer 2016 cohort, and just got a call yesterday for an interview on the Surgical unit (again)!

I'm an internal candidate (work as a House Patient Care Assistant)

Others please comment if they've heard anything yet too

I applied to PICU, Have not heard anything or had a status change online......

Hey there! I thought this thread needed more responses lol. I applied to NICU and my status says it's being considered to see if I'm one of the most qualified candidates but it's been that way for a little while. Haven't heard anything else yet but crossing my fingers!

I got an interview on Medical and on Surgical at the end of April and beginning of May. They both said they're aiming to get back to candidates by the end of the month, to let them know if they got a 2nd interview

Hello! I'm an external applicant and just had my interview with CVICU this week. I didn't ask when to expect a response but my fingers have been crossed ever since. Good luck to everyone applying and currently interviewing! Hopefully we will all hear back soon.

I am so sorry selizabeth01! I also applied to the surgical department, but have not heard anything. How did you find out, phone or e-mail if I may ask?

@selizabeth01 Thank you for starting this thread and I am so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience :sorry:... It sounds so frustrating and heartbreaking. I truly hope and wish the best for you though!

I was hoping that there are others out there to connect with that have received offers or will be receiving offers soon. I am an Internal House PCA. My first choice was NICU and second choice was Surgical. I had interviews with both units. I did not make the second round of interviews with Surgical. However, I received an offer from NICU shortly thereafter to my sincere excitement and shock (they did not hold a 2nd round of interviews). I am so so thrilled.

To my understanding they will be hosting a sort of 'meet-and-greet' the week before our Residency start date, so I am looking forward to getting to know you all then. In the meantime, maybe I can create a Facebook group for us to assist in keeping us all in the loop about our new leap and journey into the nursing world? I would love to hear which units everyone else was invited to be on.
