How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
Wow keob, that's really interesting. I have not received any phone call like that, but it is good that they didn't just flat out reject you for sure!
As I previously stated, I'm fall 2013 regular decision, and I just called and they told me that it IS rolling, and even though I am not a summer applicant or early decision applicant that I could hear any day. They also said I would get a letter in the mail AND an email. The person I spoke to said that decisions were a bit behind but I should hear soon since I was interviewed in October. This is really confusing for me and kind of stressful because I feel like I can't get an exact answer regarding when I'll hear back from them..
ETA: A different person who works directly in admissions as a counselor told me I could hear before the 1st but she thinks its more likely that I will hear between the 1st and 15th of January. Just thought I would let you all know!
I just want an answer, the anticipation is so hard and if you are anything like me, this means you are creating plans B, C, D, F, etc in your head even as you read this!
Do you know why the decisions are rolling? I thought that they were not...maybe it changed because of the hurricane?
I just got a call at around 11:00 A.M saying I got accepted to the Summer BSN-MSN Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program!!! Good luck everyone!!!! You will hear from them soon!!
I got my call around noon. I'm in!! I was accepted into the 2013 summer entry BSN/MSN Clinical Nurse Specialist program!! I couldn't stop screaming when I received the call. I stopped once the hospital security reminded me that I was standing in the Outpatient lobby area. LOL.

I got my call today too! I'm in!!!! Still waiting to to have my additional graduate interviews for the MPH/Midwifery track. So excited!!!! I actually got the call about the BSN program while I was having one of my graduate interviews.
I only had one interview too, so don't worry. I applied for early decision for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. I am sure you will hear from them soon!!!
I didn't even apply to this school but I am stalking this board watching all of you get acceptance calls! I find out about my school next weekend and it seems like an eternity from now. All the positive vibes coming from this thread is boosting my confidence about getting into where I want to go:) Congratulations to all of you!!!
