I'll be taking my NLN test the end of July and was planning on taking A&P 1 + 2 this summer. They're co-req's so I can apply in July without having taken them, but that means if I get in I'll have them along with my nursing courses.
I've been looking over my NLN study guide and I'm ok with the math, but I REALLY need to study the science section and try to complete the reading comprehension section quicker.
I could-
a.) Take the summer off to study
b.) Take both classes & squeeze in NLN study time with A&Ps
c.) Take A&P 1 and have July off to study
What would you do? BTW, I have a 4 year old son, but I'm not working outside the home.

I have heard from several nurses once you get in, there is no time for anything else. I would take them this summer and just try to study for the other. Good luck!!!

Consider option C. You shouldn't need the whole summer to study for nln. On the other hand, my experience w/ A&P was, no time to squeeze anything else in (except the kids). So whenever you take your A&P 1 or 2, it will be your life. Also, I wasn't sure from your post when you will start the nursing classes? So I may not be qualified to give you the best answer. You should probably talk to some of the students who have already taken your A&P teacher. That may help you w/ your decision. Good luck & do your best!!
