Summer 2019 Atlanta Nurse Residency

Published

Anyone applying for nurse residencies in Atlanta for Summer 2019? Any help would be appreciated!

I have my unit managers cell phone number. But I do not think we need to know our schedule yet...

Also you can purchase scrubs whenever you want, to my understanding. Unless your unit has specific scrubs that you can only buy on a certain day? I think you can get any scrubs you like as long as they are the correct color.

Thank you so much! Do you happen to know the specific color?

Emory has been Caribbean blue for nurses for YEARS. However, after my interview a nurse on the unit showed me around. I asked about scrubs and she told me that as of June (aka now), the color will change to navy blue. I have no other way to confirm this but word-of-mouth though....

I am a current tech at the hospital until residency starts and as of May 31st all nurses went from the teal to the navy blue so we will be navy too ?

Good to know! Thanks!

Has anyone taken the NCLEX yet or taking it in the next few weeks??

how was it? im trying to not freak out!

Relax before you go for test...

you will feel that you answered all wrong but take deep breath and keep going.. i passed with 80question.

I used UWORLD and it prepares well on how to answer questions.

Keep in mind that in order to pass NCLEX you have to answer 58% of questions right!!

Good luck!!
