Summer A&P...

Published

I know that I'm about two months off making this thread, but I was wondering how ya'll felt about taking A&P as a summer course. They have two different sessions offered: one six week session and one twelve week session. I was going to go the safe route and take the 12week session. However, I have previous A&P knowledge... and I just bought the coloring study guide to help me brush up (lol).

Have any of you done it? Are any of you thinking of doing it as well?

Congrats! That is great! I have had 2 exams so far, first was a 95% and the second 98%. I'm tickled pink :D

Just 2 more exams and then the final!

Specializes in ICU / PCU / Telemetry / Oncology.

Halfway through my 1st summer session, midterm is next week but based on my quiz and lab assignment grades so far I'm holding on to an "A" !!!

YAY!!

Thanks!! I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I had (have actually, again for A&P2) such a great professor. But to impart from my experience so far, just make sure you actually do the readings in the textbook before the lectures, they will definitely make lectures less confusing and ASK QUESTIONS when you are unclear! I was lucky not to have to do much memorizing though. Also, I don't know if this will work for you, but if you have the opportunity to rack up as many points as possible when the material is more basic (in the beginning) with quizzes, assignments, and the midterm, once you get to the final you can afford to slack off a bit.

Good luck!
