Suggestions for upper-level A&P

Hi everyone!

As I've stated before, I am beginning A&P this fall. I'm not sure if all schools are the same, but at my school, we have an A&P for two year nurses and allied health careers and then we have an advanced A&P for pre-med, pre-dental and four year nursing. We'll I'm taking the advanced one.

I was wondering if anyone has ever used study aids such as flash cards or computer programs to assist them in studying this difficult subject and is it more time consuming than beneficial. I need to be able to get the most out of my time.

Any advice would be helpful.

Flashcards helped me a great deal. I would turn important subjects, the ones I felt might be on the test, into questions and wrote them on my flashcards. This way my friends and family could even help drill me on them. Also bought the study guide for my A+P book. If your book comes with an accompanying website that might be of help, because most have tests to practice on. There is a site called "Web Anatomy" which is really good. Hope this helps!

I appreciate all the ideas from everyone. I now feel empowered to succeed!!
