Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone can weigh in and give me some advice. I was accepted into the RN day program at ammerman. I was also accepted to a BSN program at a private school. Both programs will take 2 years but lead to different degrees. I'm torn because I already have a bachelors degree and have spent so much money already. The private school will cost me another 60k vs Suffolk being only about 10k. Do you think it's worth it to spend the money now and get my BSN? Or go the associates route and then finish up the bachelors online?

sort of in a complicated position. Lol! Hope someone can help!

Go for your BSN. Most people go for their BSNs after Suffolk too and it could take 4 or more years if you go to Suffolk then to another school for your BSN. Suffolk is a great school, but it will pay off in the long run to get your BSN in two years.

I am in your boat, I did not apply to expensive BSN programs because I absolutely refuse to spend a bulk of my earnings after school on loans. Suffolk I could pay out of pocket while I'm there and have no loans when I'm out, which by the way I got into Nassau as well and I think I will be attending their nursing program as I only need 7 or 8 credits a semester. I also have bachelors degree in something else. After Nassau or suffolk I can do my BSN while I work taking one class a semester , there is no rush , I have a husband , a house , 2 small children. Loans are out of the question, if you read many articles today on college loans they are just getting out of hand. I disagree with the previous poster, get your RN , then work and do your BSN slow. It'll always be there , lots of luck

I'm in the same boat as you. If I attend suffolks program I will only need 8 credits semester and would go part time. Because of the bachelors degree I already have it seems like it would only take year after to my RN to get my BSN. I'm so torn!

Don't drown yourself in loans, you'll be sorry in the end

Hi everyone. I am in the Ammerman Day Program and I registered for the 3 classes we need for the first semester but I don't see how we can pick our clinical sites? On my schedule it just says "CLINICAL". Im confused because I thought we would be able to pick our top choices or something?

Reference the crn number to the sheet we received at the end of orientation. The handout listed which crn was at each clinical site.

Is anyone having trouble getting through the ATI testing site to order the textbooks? When I put in the payment code and class code nothing comes up!

Hello- I had a question, did anyone purchase the ATI program and have issues finding the Nursing Logic 2.0? I don't see it as an attachment or tutuorial... thanks!
