Suffolk Community College Nursing Program Spring 2020

Published

Hello everyone I am starting a thread for the 2020 Spring nursing program at Suffolk Community College. We can update our rubric and Teas scores. It is a little early but I wish everyone the best!

Have you guys look into to your suffolk account, I did and when I went to the degree audit review thing it defaulted my major to the part time evening program. Just wondering if that's like a hint or something. Let me know if that is showing up the same way in your accounts.

I’m applying for the spring 2020 LPN program. I wanted to go for RN but I don’t want to do the evening program since it’s 3 years long. But I also don’t want to wait to apply to the fall 2020 RN program, because if I don’t get in then I just wasted a year. So I’m wondering if anyone knows, if I get into the spring 2020 LPN program, can I still apply for the fall 2020 RN program and switch programs if I get accepted?

Hi everyone!

I applied for fall 2019 and was told I missed 2 points to be accepted, they offered me LPN program even though I didn’t apply to it. So I agreed for LPN but still will take teas for the spring 2020, taking it in July. My problem is the LPN starts in September and the letters of acceptance for RN program will come later, so if I get accepted I won’t know what to do, because I get financial aid, so I can’t just withdraw. What do you think I should do?

@M27ny

Just curious what you ended up doing??

I recently applied for the spring 2020 program.. I was wondering if u do not get into the part time evening program will they automatically apply me for the LPN program? I did not see anywhere on the site for me to apply. Thank you.

@Abesse yeah, when I talked to an advisor she told me that if you apply for RN and don’t get in, and there is still room left in the LPN program, they will automatically offer LPN to those with the highest rubric scores that didn’t get into the RN

Hi all, I just had a question about the application process. I am already a student at suffolk, I have taken majority of my credits here with the exception of a few because I attended another school for a semester before starting at suffolk. I was wondering if since I already have my credits from here is there any transcript that has to be sent in after I've sent in my nursing application? Or will they already have my grades on file?

Hello all did anyone get anything yet? I am so nervous i dot a 78 on my teas only have a couple prereqs done i applied to The lpn to rn program.
