hi all:)

i was just curious, what do you all set your suction at for newborns after delivery?

i've noticed recently that in different rooms i have been in, the wall suction has been at different settings, seems strange to me..

My NRP isn't recent, but The last time I took it sx should be set @ 100. NO higher.

We set our suction units to no higher than 100 for all neonates.

Check your settings, oxygen, and equipment each and every time you come on shift! By checking way, way in advance of the delivery time, you will avoid problems in those crucial moments after the birth!

Thanks guys, that's what I thought! Nice to hear from people though
