STUPID QUESTION? taking the NCLEX in a different state

Published

I have registered for NCLEX under the california board of nursing. But, currently I am in the state of oklahoma where im planning to take my test on the 26th. Do I need to call somebody at the testing center to let them know that i have ATT under the CBON? or will be ok if i just show up on the day of the test??? Sorry, I know its a stupid question...Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thankyou

Hi, I took my test in Nebraska, and am registered in colorado, i called the colorado board of nursing and they told me that it didn't matter where you took it as long as you were registered in the state you want your license in. But it is always good to double check, so i would just give your board of nursing a call for clarification. hope this helps.

Doesn't matter where you take it as long as your ATT is valid and registered with a BON
