Get out of school at 3, drive home, usually go to bed at 11 or 12.. In between I eat (don't cook) and spend maybe 15 minutes or so with my 17 yr old....... Otherwise, I have the books open and the pen in hand..... so I would honestly say 6-7 hours a night.....

Sounds like me.

I am at school from 8 - 3:45 M-F

study at starbucks or the library from 3:45-4:30

pick up my son at day care at 5

start dinner around 5ish and dinner at 6ish

spend family time until 8

put my son to bed at 830

back to my studies by 9... (9:30 the latest) until 12ish

oh... and on the weekend:

study from 6-8 while my family is still sleeping

lunch and family time until about 2

study again during my sons nap from 2-4

dinner and family time until 10

study again until 12 the latest!

=avg of 30+ hrs week! geez, when I break it down like this, makes me realize that I DONT HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE!:p

lol ok sounds like i'm normal, do you think we study so much because of how hard it is or the amount of material and the time we have to learn it in, imo i think while the material is tough stuff, i think its more to do with the time in which we have to know it

I agree, the material is tough but the time we have to get this stuff done is demanding. Theres a "buttload" of material to learn in a short amt of time! plus, having kids doesnt make it any easier, so when ever I get a free minute... I whip out my flashcards!:clown:

I agree, its like a 3 day turn around at most... Get it on Monday, Then Testing on Wednesday........Just one more day would be wonderful.........

But on the upside, its only a year!... :clown:

i keep tell myself that!!! it just a year!!!!

2-4 hours a night during the week, a couple hours on Saturday, and the majority of the day on Sunday.

Good for you guys that it is only a year. When i signed up for my program it was 5 quarters to then be told that starting with my class we would be extending to 8. I still like the fact that we have more time, but we also have more requirements. I could have been and associate RN in the time its gonna take to do the LPN. But the studying with two small children, a needy mother and a a immature father of the kids, I surprise myself sometimes with my time management. :coollook:

Study Time Is MY Middle Name....
