Study Materials for NCLEX-RN anyone?

Published

Hi everyone! I have been unsuccessful in passing the NCLEX-RN exam however I am not giving up and giving it my everything, studying 4-5 hours a day and was wondering if anyone had any advice on study materials for me? Like what CD/Books/Audios really worked best for you? I've been using Kaplan and Saunders and find the Saunders better suits my learning needs. Any advice or tips you may have would extremely help me at this point. I want to really make sure I do it right this time and prioritize my life around studying.. someone recommended that the ATI books were really helpful! What do you think?! Thank you all so much for you help and consideration! These forums help me tremendously :)

Since you already have Saunders book I would say look into Suzanne's Plan. I believe she uses the latest edition of Saunders for her plan.

I used

  • saunders 4th
  • kaplan review book
  • priority, delegation and prioritization book
  • Nclex game- its kinda cheesy when you think about it but its a fun way to study
  • nclex 3500- can find online just by typing it into google
  • kaplan meds just for the nclex rn book

also take a look at the random facts and infection control thread!!!

hope that helps. best of luck studying
