Hello All,
I just finished, and completed/graduated from my first year of ADN school. I knew going in that it was going to be difficult, but I was not prepared for everything that we were responsible for like the volume of readings, and also having to complete a TON of paperwork for clinical. I am just glad I completed all of my pre req's (and also many classes that will count towards my BS) b4 entering the program. Well, live and learn. OK, here is my question.
My class is starting this fall with cardiac. We have an exam the first week back on cardiac medications, interventions, diagnosis, etc... Is anyone familiar with Mary Ann Hogan's study guides and were they helpful? Money is very tight at the moment and I have to spend it wisely. I do not want to waste money on a bunch of different study guides, aids, etc.. I have heard that her books are helpful. Does anyone have an opinion on what is the best cardiac study guide or an opinion on Mary Ann Hogans books specifically? If so please respond and let me know. I appreciate the information on this site because it is a community of health care professionals/students who have been there, done that. Thanks to all who respond, I do appreciate your time.
