Apologize in advance if this topic has been created (if yes, please give the link).
First I want to know any of my countrymen have experience in European countries or the U.S.?
Secondly, I would appreciate it if people from other countries tell you which courses you can finish that work as a nurse in your country?
I still am in the First Medical College in St. Petersburg.
I want to continue their studies in Europe or the USA. With employment in the future.

I moved from Russia long time ago (almost 9 years ago) and I have Masters in Geography and international tourism, and MBA from Moscow school of Business. But nursing was always on my mind. I started working on prerequisites last year and have 3 more classes to go before I can enter Nursing program (accelerated BSN program is my first choice). I am taking 2-3 classes at a time, work full time and have 3 kids. I am not sure if you can transfer any of the classes you finish in St Petersburg in any college in US. I know I couldn’t, but it probably depends on the school you want to apply. But I seriously doubt it.

Moved to International forum.
I just curious to know what courses are in another country I will need to go, and how to eliminate differences in education and obtain a license (right to work as a nurse). Is it possible to distance learning?
In Russia, for undergraduate nurses - does not exist. There are colleges, they offer specialty.
(sorry if my English is illegible)
As I understand you are still in Russia. If you want to be a nurse in US, I would start from preparing myself for TOEFL. Many colleges in here will require you to take that exam anyway in order to be accepted for nursing program. Second, I would start working with Immigration department on getting student visa and picking the college you want to apply. Many prerequisites can be completed on-line, but not all of them and you will have to take some classes on campus. It is definitely doable if that is what you want to do. But school is expensive and you will not qualify for financial aid as you have to have Permanent resident status in order to apply for Financial aid (Green Card). Hope this helps.
PS: In order to practice Nursing in US, you have to take the board exam. If you study in different country, you might have the knowledge, but, in my opinion, it will be hard to apply it because of discrepancy in language and translation. I believe you do have to go to school In US if you want to practice in US.

not necessarily in the U.S.
I think it will be possible to do an exam and what some courses.
And so it turns out that my education in Russia will disappear.
In any case, thanks for helping the council.

Most countries have a recognised nursing program (that is for the country you train in) However fees as a International student will be very expensive and will not mean you will get permission at the end of it to stay and work in that country as each country will have their own requirements for immigration
