Students from Russia (how to get permission to work in Europe or the USA)
As I understand you are still in Russia. If you want to be a nurse in US, I would start from preparing myself for TOEFL. Many colleges in here will require you to take that exam anyway in order to be accepted for nursing program. Second, I would start working with Immigration department on getting student visa and picking the college you want to apply. Many prerequisites can be completed on-line, but not all of them and you will have to take some classes on campus. It is definitely doable if that is what you want to do. But school is expensive and you will not qualify for financial aid as you have to have Permanent resident status in order to apply for Financial aid (Green Card). Hope this helps. PS: In order to practice Nursing in US, you have to take the board exam. If you study in different country, you might have the knowledge, but, in my opinion, it will be hard to apply it because of discrepancy in language and translation. I believe you do have to go to school In US if you want to practice in US.

Students from Russia (how to get permission to work in Europe or the USA)
I moved from Russia long time ago (almost 9 years ago) and I have Masters in Geography and international tourism, and MBA from Moscow school of Business. But nursing was always on my mind. I started working on prerequisites last year and have 3 more classes to go before I can enter Nursing program (accelerated BSN program is my first choice). I am taking 2-3 classes at a time, work full time and have 3 kids. I am not sure if you can transfer any of the classes you finish in St Petersburg in any college in US. I know I couldn’t, but it probably depends on the school you want to apply. But I seriously doubt it.

freaking out!!
I am sure you will do just fine. I have 3 kids (7, 4 and 2 year old), husband who works nights and i work days (full time) plus taking night classes. Yes, daycare is expensive and you probably will have to put your youngest in the daycare while you are at school. But it is doable. I was stressing out a lot how we can do that, but everything fall into place. Just make sure that your husband is supportive of you going to school and you have a "secret hideout" to study. My husband just tells the kids that mama is at work when i am in the office studding. Good luck!

Question about A&P 1
the notes are right here https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/p-help-my-334360.html i am taking A&P 1 in the fall too. I read through the notes and planning to start reading through the textbook as well, just to make myself familiar with the information. I also bought netter flash cards and coloring book. the school where i will be applying is extremly competitive, so nothing less than A is not gonna fly. No pressure, no pressure at all
