Students in Reno Guess what ?........

Hi everyone,

thought i'd share some news that i recently heard if you didn't already know.... Apollo college and their nursing program is coming to Reno. At last !!!!! more choices for nursing programs in reno nv. The proposed date for the program is March. I think they are still searching for faculty to hire. If anyone has any news regarding this please share.

All I know is that Renown is in discussion with someone from Apollo to negotiate clinical hour availability. The information I received was that enrollment would begin in the Spring or Summer or 2009, so I'd assume classes wouldn't start until Fall 09, but who knows?

Thanks sooooooo much for the info. That's good to know. I also got some more info and yes, classes will begin either sometime in Spring or early summer 2009. The building is in construction and the pre-reqs to get in are the same as the Apollo in Vegas. I wish more private schools would have campuses up here in Reno as well. It would be great if Touro would do something like that.
