Would this burn bridges?

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I'm looking for some advice. I was admitted into A CRNA program starting this fall. I have recently set up an interview for another CRNA school, one which is local to me. The school I was already admitted to would require a relocation which I don't want to do, but was planning on doing anyways if it was my only option.

The problem is, the local school which I have an upcoming interview at, said they will not notify people of decisions until July (this is for a Jan 2017 start date). The school I'm already accepted to starts in August and they don't have a waitlist, so if I suddenly decide not to go I don't think they can easily fill my spot. I can imagine they are not going to like that. Will I be burning bridges if I notify them so late? I know some people will wonder why a grown person is worried about not being liked but you never know.. I'm worried about it. But of course I'm not going to give up my spot unless I actually get an offer from the local school.

Thoughts?

You have to do what you have to do. If the local program accepts you then I don't see why it would be a problem. Schools understand that it takes a lot to relocate especially if you have a family. If you did get accepted to the local school then I would inform the school that I was already accepted to the reason I wasn't coming.

They have wait lists I am sure.

Thank you for your responses. I don't think they have a wait list. I asked about it at the interview and they said no. :sorry:
