Time off for CRNA school interviews

Hey everyone! I am planning on applying to CRNA school soon and have a little bit of a silly question, but something I'm really curious about. Did you request off the days that you knew the school would be interviewing just in case, or just manage to get your shifts covered once you found out about your interview? I've noticed the interviews are generally scheduled a month or so out from the time the applicant is notified of the interview. In my case, the new schedule for the next month would likely already be finalized or nearly finalized. Just curious how you guys figured that out. Thanks!

I just switched shifts when I found out about the interviews. Mainly because I don't think I was told they days interviews were being conducted until I was called for an interview. I think there are schools that tell you upfront the interview dates, though.
