Intro Book?

Hi all,

So I've been thinking a lot about going back to school and I think that CRNA would be a wonderful fit for me...or I'd be a wonderful fit for CRNA which ever way. I enjoy reading so I thought I'd take a look at some CRNA books to see what kind of information is taught but I am unsure or the right book, plus I dont want to pick one up that would be over my head at first. Any thoughts would be great.

Barash PG: Clinical Anesthesia is a standard text.

You could also try Morgan&Mikhail:Clinical Anesthesiology (Like a girlfriend's guide to anesthesia)

i have to disagree about Barash. way to indepth. can even be a bit overwhelming for the seasoned student.

M&M is good, and pretty basic at times.

it's considered our bible at school.

if you want to just see what the profession is all about, check out "watchful care"..

i think you will be happy.
