Got my call today. Im in at MTSA. Was wondering if there are any more of you early interviewers out there that got in. Also has any questions about the process ask away.

Specializes in Critical Care.

I hope so too! Let us know. Does he work in Nashville?

Congrats!!! I bet you feel such relief.

A couple of quick questions...

Do you know, have all the calls been made? Was it quick phone call?

I interviewed yesterday and am chomping at the bit.

I just would like any input you might have. Thanks!

als4f,

Congrats!! I know you must be SO relieved!

Couple of quick questions:

Do you know if they have made all the phone calls?

How long did your call last?

Did there seem to be an order to the calls? (alphabetical)

I interviewed yesterday and am chomping @ the bit.

Thanks and good luck to you!

The phone call that I got was the next morning. Pam at the school told me that the phone calls would be in order of how you were interviewed. Hope that helps and congrats to all who got in. See you in July!

I am working on my med study guide. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that would like to combine what ive done with possibly some study materials for vents, invasive monitoring, physiology etc. Kind of a "study guide" for CRNA interviews. If anyone is interested let me know and maybe we can help out some of our future SRNAs. I know there could be so much more added to it and it is always better to get different points of view on things like this.

:yelclap: I'M in too!!!

Yay Congrats!!!:balloons:

Im in too. Had an early interview....work at trauma...took ten of us, so it will definetly be a cool class.

Pharmacology and Physiology in Anesthesia by R.K. Stoelting was the pharm book that I used. I think the book is very well written and was easy to understand for me. It also has some basic physiology in the back of the book. As far as a little more in depth physiology the Lange physiology series is pretty good. It is a series for medical students studying for boards so it pretty cut and dry without all of the extra fluff. PM me your email address and I will email you the study guide I have so far. It is mainly vasoactive medications. If you cant find the books and need the ISBN for them I can look it up for you.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me with the interview process. I read that you got in last year, so I thought maybe you could help out a possibly future SRNA. Are the questions they ask primarily based on your experience or do they ask questions that you probably won't be prepared for? Also, did they ask about all the medications that you listed down to the cellular level or do you just pick a couple? Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks a million!!

For those of you who already have interviewed...Is there any way I could possibly get a copy of your med study sheets you went by before the interview? I am applying next year, and would like to go ahead and start getting on the ball about studying!!! Thanks!
