Nursing Students SRNA

I am interested in feedback on the CRNA programs in Ohio. From what I understand, most of the Ohio schools have quarters (not semesters) and was just wondering how people like that. Good and bad feedback is welcome. PMs are also welcome. Thanks in advance.

I attend the CWRU/CCF program in Cleveland, and we are on semesters, not quarters. PM me if you want more details.

I have been looking for a student of CWRU in Cleveland. My wife and I are both RN students here in Sandusky a little ove an hour away. My ultimate goal is to obtain my CRNA licensure one day, and in between now and my RN exam and achieving my BSN (along with a years acute care on the job) I was wondering what might help in boosting ones chances in regards to attending Case Western. Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated, as with a family of 5 that is my most resonable chance of getting into school down the line without having to move everyone. Do you know how many slots are available each year vs. how many applicants? Thanks for your time.

I live in Sandusky and i am starting Case CRNA program this August. I plan on commuting. I work agency in Cleveland and the commute is not as bad as it sounds. It is about an hour, maybe less depending on the time of day. There may be days where i will want to spend the night in Cleveland, but to me that is not a big deal. I have no intention of moving. I applied to Case and I had a 3.1 GPA, average GRE and 10 years of Critical Care experience. I know it was my interview that got me in. I just remained positive and VERY motivated. They don't just look at one thing. They even said that in the interview. They take into account the whole package. If you can get to an interview, you have to sell yourself and show them why they have to have you as a student. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.!!

Zozzy777 - Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my post, it is encouraging to see someone in my area with the same ideas as myself and experiencing success. I knew the commute would not be a lot of fun, but didn't think it would be unbearable either. I still have a long way to go, but thanks again for the information, and best of luck in the program!!!
