Student nurses, what will you different when you have student's?

What would you like to do different for your students that you did not have during your clinicals? Where there any nurses that did not like having students? What could the hospital do different to improve teaching for students?

The hospital could give us badges.. I spend a lot of time standing outside the med/supply/biohazard rooms waiting for and employee to pass and open the door.

My first year, my clinical site had codes on the doors, so we could punch ourselves in. This eat I moved to a site where you had to have badges to get into everything, and I hate it! So much time wasted. I get migraines every single clinical day because I can't drink water because I can't get into the break room - the only place where we're allowed to have drinks.

What's sad is that we actually DO have badges...they just didn't set them up to give us access. We might steal all the tape and gauze.
