Student Nurse with two kids & pregnant

I am entering year 2 out of 4 in September and found out I am pregnant. My partner and I were surprised but very happy & excited at the same time. I also have two little kids 3 & 5 year olds. Two days ago, I found out I have a SCH (Subchorionic Hematoma). I am only 6 weeks, 3 days pregnant. Now with school approaching fast, my partner and I are deciding how to proceed. I've talked to a student advisor and she pretty much said I'm most likely going to do Year 5 if I do take a semester off and that I should delay clinicals and do all the coursework for now. Has any of you had similar experience? If so, how did you handle it?
