That is amazing. I have to admit that I can't imagine how she must have felt getting turned away from all of those hospitals and having to go home by yourself and try to save the lives of your family all by yourself. I hope someone has started a scholarship for her so she can finish nursing school.

Wow! Amazing foresight. A fantastic student who deserves to finish nursing school. She is a wonderful asset to the profession and to her community. We talk about critical thinking a lot as nurses. She faced so many obstacles but never gave up and used phenomenal critical thinking skills to create solutions. I hope she can finish up her schooling. I, for one, would like to help her if I knew where to send money. Perhaps we at AN could start a fund for her. With Ebola entering the U.S., it would be wise to invest in medical professionals like her who can help stop the tide.

What a hero! I hope she writes a book or something. And I'm sure she will get enough media coverage that someone will pay for her final year of education.
I think that's a good idea. I wonder how we could get that started. Any ideas?
