Hello!
I was just offered a student nurse position on an oncology unit (BMT to be precise). I'm super excited about it because I've been looking a good position like this for a while now. I was wondering if anyone has some awesome advice they could offer me. Anything and everything will help! Thank you!

What is the offered salary (or approximate, don't mean to be personal but I'm curious, as I'm starting prereqs in 1 month) to switch careers...
Thank you very much.

I don't have any advice but just wanted to offer my congrats on the position pynkladie.
And firehawk734 I think student nurse/ nurse tech positions usually pay around 14-17 an hour depending (I wouldn't know for sure since I'm not eligible for them yet but that's what I've heard. Anyone who might know better is free to correct me) BUT you must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed one if not more clinical rotations to be eligible for those positions. (which means one or two semesters after starting in the nurse program not just the prereqs).
