I had a signature loan which was based on my credit (because hubby makes too much for me to have qualified for the federal kind og aid). It was through Sallie Mae.

I have the Stafford Loan. Last year I got the subsidized loan which is about $1200 per semester. This year I am getting both the subsidized and unsubsidized loans and I will get $3600 per semester.

Hi! Since I used up all of my stafford loans I had to get a loan through Bank One. You can take up to 30,000 a year (depending on school) and they send loan check to you and not your school.

Fill out your FAFSA and see what kind of government aid you can qualify for. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
Then check out Bank One's Education One Loan. Like the previous poster said, you can borrow up to $30,000/year. You just have to be approved by them after they do a credit check, send them proof of enrollment, and then they send the check directly to YOU, so you can use the money for tuition, books, rent, food, any other living expenses, etc.
