Stopcock with power injector for CCTAs

Hello. Just wondering if any nurses are doing CT coronary angiograms with power injector. Is anyone using stopcocks? If so what is the process when connecting the tubing and using the power injector. I read a study that says this process is safest for patient to help decrease venous air embolisms.
