The application window is finally closed for the two-year BS nursing program at Stony Brook. So I wanted to make this thread because I haven't seen one. Let's stay in touch during this process. I wish everyone success during their journey.

Hey nursehagel, 

No problem, I'm really excited and we all should deff stay in touch! I've been reading previous years threads and I wonder since they pushed the deadline back a week this year when interview emails will come out .

Hi all,

Thanks for starting this thread ! I applied as well and am so nervous. Previously attended SBU for my bachelors in business and have been working in urgent care since 2019. Hoping the best to get in. Good luck everyone ??

Goodluck!! The wait is going to kill me , I know it LOL. I'm so excited and nervous for this process. I've been working in health care since 2013, and currently getting my LPN certificate at Suffolk

Yes we do !! Did you apply anywhere else

I didn't. I spent so much money on prerequisites, since my degree was in business and I needed the sciences. I didn't want to spend anymore haha. I have a child, so spending a bunch on prerequisites isn't ideal. If I don't get in, ill just try again next year.

Aww OK I completely understand . But same stony Brook is my first choice

In past years they have sent them in middle to late Feb, so hopefully our wait is no longer than 1 month.
