Nursing Students School Programs
Published Nov 7, 2016
Hi everyone,
I applied in September to Stony Brook's FNP program that starts in June 2017. I haven't heard anything back yet. Anyone, please if you have applied and heard something, can you post your updates? Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm waiting to hear as well. I interviewed in November and we were told we should have a decision in December.. obviously that wasn't the case. Checking my email everyday hoping to hear something!

Did you also apply for the FNP program? I didn't know they did the interview so early. How was your experience?

Hi everyone, what is your experience with this program. Is this program all online. Im considering applying.Would love to hear about anyone's experience
CeceStar5, the program is mostly online for most courses. The main courses, such as advanced health assessment and the FNP courses which you will do in your last 2 years, have on-site requirements. You will have to go to campus once a month or once every other month, depending on the course. When you go in, you may have to do on-site simulations, such as seeing a patient to test your examination skills, and/or take a quiz or exam.
