Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2018

Hello everyone, I'm currently in the Stony Brook accelerated (1 year) program and here to help with questions you might have. It was useful for me to look at the thread from last year when I was applying so I wanted to get one started for all of you. Feel free to post questions or message me. I hope this is helpful.

They are really waiting till the last minute here lol I applied to two more programs just in case. I really wanna know, this wait is terrible.

I just called and they said early January. They seem to be telling everyone different things.

I called Jan K. last week and she said we would find out by mid-January. But when I talked to Karen Allard, she said we would hear back around now.

I wish they could just give us a set day. I'm sure they've already made their decisions.

Someone said that the school of nursing made their decisions already and they were just waiting for the university to send them out. That's stony for ya!

they said they're trying to get all the decisions out by Christmas but seriously....WHAT....IS....TAKING....SOOOOOO...LOOONNGGGGG. I wanna know already this is killing me

I spoke with them on wednesday - they said before the new year. office is closed monday 12/26 so will be tuesday - friday of next week as I understand it.
