Hello everyone, I'm currently in the Stony Brook accelerated (1 year) program and here to help with questions you might have. It was useful for me to look at the thread from last year when I was applying so I wanted to get one started for all of you. Feel free to post questions or message me. I hope this is helpful.

A friend of mine who didn't get an interview called to see about decisions and they told her the 15th!

Does anyone know how many people they waitlist? I'm hoping that if I don't get accepted I at least get waitlisted

Does anyone from a previous year remember what time the e-mails were sent out? If it's true that we are receiving decisions today... I am compulsively checking my e-mail and solar!

I checked earlier threads. It looks like last year rejection emails went out first. Than the next day acceptance and wait list. Not sure though

My eye is twitching thinking about it! If I remember from the other threads it was the afternoon. But you never know with the SON. I hope so bad that we hear back today! The waiting is literally gonna be the death of me.

That's what a girl in one of my classes was told when she called the SON. But she never got an interview so maybe rejections go out today

I called the school of nursing today. They said that decisions have been made and are now waiting for student services to send them out. She said they probably won't be sent out for a week or two but I'm hoping that isn't true!

Class of 2016 receievd rejection and acceptance in the same day, but rejection e-mails still went out before acceptance.

Maybe she meant the physical letters?
