:bugeyes:Howdy, a triton student here.
I can't believe that we are about to start our second semester this week. How did you like your first semester, and did you like your instructors?

Finally! A Triton student! First semester was pretty good. I do wish I felt more confident about my clinical experience, but overall... good. How about you? I liked my instructors quite a bit, well, all but one. We need to get more of our people here!
Hi there.
yes we definitely need more triton students in this forum.
To tell you the truth about my clinicals, I felt that we were behind compared to the other groups, It was until the last part of the clinicals when we had a different instructor that taught us how to really come up with the care plans, but like you said, I do like my instructors as well.
When do you start your clinicals? mine are to start on saturday, so I still have a few extra days to prepare.
well I wish you luck!
I had a similar situation occur- got lots of great info from an instructor that was a fill-in. I guess some are just better than others, so it's the luck of the draw I suppose. I start on Thursday- getting a little nervous, but that is normal. Good luck to you!

Finally A Forum With Triton Nursing. I Wish You The Best. I Applied For Fall 08' Spr 09' And I Am Anxiously Awaiting A Letter. Do They Send Out Denials. I Am Going Crazy Everyday Waiting For Something In The Mail. Please Let Me Know About The Process.:(
They do send out letters of regret, but it is usually a few weeks after acceptance letters. Let me know if you have any other questions, as there is SO MUCH for you to know if you are starting the program. Good luck!:wink2:

Congratulations! Clinical sites are all over-- Oak Park, Melrose Park, Elmhurst, etc. I think the main Resurrection hospital is in chicago, and that is one of the clinical sites. Most people in the program work, but it can be difficult. I went to part time for second semester, which is a VERY HARD semester. If you have specific questions I can answer them for you.
I'm so happy.
I made it through the first year.I just got my pharm/theory grades today, although they were not my best grades ever , but hey C's make nurses too.
