stethoscope timers

I have seen stethoscope timers that attach to your stethoscope, they look pretty neat. Has anyone tried these, do you like them? They are not very expensive, but I hate to buy something, and not use it because I don't like it. Your opinions please!

I believe, that you could probably set it for say 15, 30 or 60 seconds and not have a watch to look at. I t may have other uses too, but I'm not sure.
