this site has an excellent chart which breaks down nicely which states offer medicaid for opiate addiction treatment. the chart further breaks it down for what treatment drug in what particular treatment setting a state extends medicaid for patient assistance.

Arizona medicaid covers all those meds. I wonder why my unit doesn't discharge patients with any of them.

wolfie - i don't know if i was reading the table right or not, but it didn't make me feel much better about my home state. i live in louisiana, and it was a "big no" all across the board. pitiful!
