Starting Salaries

It seems like I will be in a heap of debt:o when I graduate so I need some info on salaries....for those of you who dont mind :o) Please post the hospital and starting. Also the degree for which they are paying the salary.

Where in NY state are you located? I've heard starting salaries at hospitals in western new york state are hitting $24.00/hr. for RNs. If the facility has a union, you could make consistent time and a half in certain situations. some hospitals pay $30.00/hr. or more if you work every weekend. Good luck with your career.:balloons:

I'm in NYC and I will most likely be working here or in Brooklyn. I know someone posted that with an ASN Methodist Hospital pays 67K...I just wanted to see if that is the norm or if that is an exception to the rule. Thanks for responding

i'm in dutchess county ( north of nyc) and hospital start between 22.00 and 26.00/hr

I'm in NY and most of the hospitals pay 62K and up for BSN and no experience. I want to know what the pay is for Central Florida hospitals with a year med/surg experience. Thanks.

Hospitals around the city will have ABOUT the same pay range. From what I know, starting is around 65K. Night diff would be an additional 4-5K. These figures are based on what ADN's are being offered. Don't know about BSN's.

Hospitals pay nurses with BSN degree $1200 to $1500 more.
