Starting the RPN (Flexible) at Centennial Sept 2013

World Canada CA Programs

Published

I am going to Centennial College this fall for the Practical Nursing (Flexible) program, I just made my schedule two days ago and was wondering if there is anyone who has chosen the same block of classes as me.

The schedule options were all okay but I didn't want to spread out my classes, so I chose to only have classes on Tuesday and Wednesday (Which I loveee!) Tuesday: PNUR 103 (8:30AM - 11:30AM) COMM 170 (12:30PM - 3:20PM) ANAT 113 (3:30PM - 5:20PM) Wednesday: ANAT 113 (8:30AM - 10:20AM) GNED 144 (12:30PM - 3:20PM)

So, I have Monday, Thursday and Friday off. =) lol I thought this schedule would be better for me because I have to drive to school and also I'm okay with early morning classes (I'm a morning person), and since the classes are so early in the morning I won't run into any traffic at all. Also, I read on the Centennial College website that in order to be accepted into the bridging program to the RN program at Ryerson you can't fail or redo any courses taken in the RPN program.

So, that's another reason why I chose this schedule, it gives me more free time to study and do my readings and prepare for my classes each week. I really can't wait to start this program!I feel like this program is going to be a great learning experience!

I sent you a PM :)
